Donations
All donations directly help our beneficiaries, and allow us to better provide supportive services to community members who are infected and affected by HIV and AIDS, and other opportunistic infections in the Clermont and KwaDabeka area in KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa).
Income Generating Activities
Beading and Sewing Team
Our sewing and beading team work from a five roomed pre-fabricated building donated by Stac Plastic Machinery Agency. A variety of goods are made from school uniforms for the children in our OVC Programme, as well as other items that are sold to raise funds for the organisation, including several beaded items such as jewellery, shoes, etc. Additionally, members of the community who are interested in sewing, including our beneficiaries, are trained on basic sewing and beading skills by our team.

Vegetable Gardens
Our vegetable gardens were initiated by Woolworths after they visited the project. Since that visit, a variety of vegetables have been planted, maintained and nurtured by our Gardener and by a team of community members who have been trained on how to look after the gardens. The vegetables that are grown in the gardens are an asset to our Food Programme, as these are often added to the food parcels and meals on wheels we distribute to our beneficiaries.
Mushrooms
Our mushroom initiative was started by a Professor from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. In order to ensure the success of this initiative, we built a shack on our premises were the mushrooms are cultivated. The project has since been taken over by the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Department of Agriculture. Our mushroom team was trained on how to look after the mushrooms, for example how to handle, weigh and pack them when they are ready. We regularly receive supplies of mushrooms from Cedara Agriculture College KwaZulu-Natal.
